Fort Stevens

We went to Fort Stevens this week with the Woodwards, Knaupps, Hannah, Emma and Taylor. It was really fun. We went to the Candyman in Seaside and had 2 flat tires. I was looking at some of the pictures from last year and was comparing them. Some people have grown so much. It was really fun having Hannah, Emma, and Emilee there. We spent a lot of time at the Batteries. We even had some late night trips there on our bikes. Bikes+Bumps=Sore bottoms. :)

 We jumped in the lake and had to be helped up. It wasn't as cold as we expected.

 We rented this in Seaside. I got to drive. We got an extra hour because Sis. Woodward was wearing her BYU sweatshirt and the guy in charge had taught there and was super nice.

Girls' Camp: day 5 journal entry

We stayed up until 2 last night watching Kung Fu Panda on our forbidden DVD player. This morning I slept in. We packed up and headed down to flag. We were late. We had leftovers for breakfast. I had everyone sign my shirt. We had a final destiny lesson by Sister Reeser. The buses came a hour late. Then the luggage truck got a flat tire so our stuff arrived a few hours after us. I drenched Michaela with my water bottle. In return Jessica and I got drenched my Makayla and Sarah. I really miss Girls' Camp. I have pies to make. :)

Girls' Camp: day 4 journal entry

This morning I woke up and did the REM run. Then I took a shower. For breakfast we had bacon and cinnamon rolls. Then Sophia and Emma left. We cleaned the pool house again. First we had Nature with Sis. Sanders. We learned about poisonous and edible plants. Mom taught us our destiny today. For outdoor Sister Merrill taught us how to care for our pocket knives. I spent free time at PP. I got another pin today for doing 11 experiences total. Our cabin had the best cabin call. We did flag. Bishop Ballard came and brought us cobbler. Testimony meeting was amazing. I bore my testimony for the second time in my whole entire life. My first time was last year at Girls' Camp. We had Circle of Light afterwards. That's when everyone stands in a circle with a candle and we sing hymns. I love Circle of Light. Holly and Sister Dotson just left. The adults have the night out. Today was the last full day. I'll miss Girls' Camp.
